Mumtaz Naan Recipe
Description
Naan is famous bread from India and Middle Eastern countries. It is a flat bread made of wheat flour. There are variety of naan such as plain naan, garlic naan, butter naan and many more.
Traditionally naan is cook inside a hot clay tandoor oven with a charcoal. In a modern kitchen, we do cook in the oven or stove. Mumtaz Naan is mouthwatering naan. It is a normal naan with topping of Mayonnaise, Cheese, tomato, chili and carrot.
It look so wired “Naan with Mayonnaise”, but trust me it has the magical taste and it goes very well with tandoori chicken, dhal and Mint chutney.
The taste was so good and I can’t stop eating it.
How
to make Naan
Naan Ingredients:-
3 cups of wheat flour
1 cup of milk
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon instant dry yeast
50ml warm water
Oil
Instructions
Add 50ml warm water into dry yeast, salt,
sugar and set aside for 10mins
Add above mixture to wheat flour and mix it
well
Knead the dough for 10-15mins and cover it
wet cloth. Let it rest for 1 hour
After 1-hour rest, knead the dough for
another 5mins and cover it wet cloth again. Let it rest for another 30mins
Now the dough ready to make naan
Roll the dough to make round shape.
Apply cooking oil to pan.
Put the naan on the pan and add chopped
green chili and grated carrot and roll it
Make sure oven is pre-heat
Cook for 10-15mins
Toppings Ingredients:
Chopped tomato
Chopped green chili
Grated carrot
Sliced cheese
Mayonnaise
Butter
Instructions
Apply butter on the hot naan bread
Spread the mayonnaise on the naan
Add sliced cheese & tomato
Put in the oven for another 3-5mins till
the cheese melt
Now Mumtaz Naan is ready to serve. It goes
very well with tandoori chicken, dhal and Mint chutney
